Press Releases Black Enterprise (BE) Magazine Ranks 1 Source Consulting as No. 17 in 2011 BE 100's List Washington DC - June 6, 2011 - For the fifth consecutive year, Black Enterprise (BE) Magazine has recognized 1 Source Consulting, Inc. as one of the largest African American-owned companies in the nation. In the 2011 BE 100s list, 1 Source Consulting ranked No. 17 with over $232 million in annual revenues. In developing the rankings for 2011, BE research collected surveys from hundreds of companies as well as information from government agencies, professional organizations, industry associations, business information services, entrepreneurs, and corporations. The information included: total revenues for calendar year 2010; a detailed description of business activities; historical ownership data; and, confirmation that the entity is at least 51% black-owned. Since 1970, Black Enterprise has provided essential business information and advice to professionals, corporate executives, entrepreneurs, and decision makers. The monthly publication provides 3.9 million readers with information on entrepreneurship, careers, and financial management. As the definitive source of information for and about African American business markets and leaders, BE is the authority for business news and trends.
