1 Source Consulting, Inc. Announces Award by Department of Energy for $1 Billion A-76 Competitive Bid
Washington, DC - November 21, 2005 - 1 Source Consulting, Inc. (1 Source Consulting) announced today the award to Energy Enterprise Solutions, LLC (EES) for a 7 year, $1 billion Information Technology Support Services A-76 contract to provide mission-critical information technology support to the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE). The contract will be a consolidation of several existing and related IT contracts at DOE and will be one of the largest Federal information technology services contract ever awarded to small business.
EES, a small business joint venture, was formed as part of an SBA-certified Mentor-Protégé agreement between majority-owner 1 Source Consulting, Inc. and RS Information Systems. In conjunction with the DOE Federal IT workforce, this single integrated Federal/contractor solution, also known as "Team DOE", will be committed to providing consolidated IT services, simple access, effective management, strengthened security, and improved performance by delivering services on time and with exemplary quality throughout DOE, its Federal stakeholder communities, and the American public.

1 Source Consulting will support a wide range of information technology support areas including capital planning, strategic planning, enterprise architecture, cyber-security, telecommunications, network infrastructure, systems design and engineering, help desk support, software applications, and Web design.
