As further evidence of that commitment, 1 Source/EES is pleased to announce that its Software Development and Engineering (SDE) Division achieved Capability Maturity Model Integration (CMMI) Maturity Level 3 for Software Development. The 1 Source/EES CMMI Maturity Level 3 appraisal was accepted by Carnegie Mellon University’s Software Engineering Institute (SEI) effective March 31, 2010. CMMI is a process improvement approach developed by SEI that provides organizations with the essential elements of effective processes that ultimately improve their performance. 1 Source/EES was previously appraised at CMMI Maturity Level 2.
