Description

The candidate will provide support to the E-Government program by developing strategies for the improved use of the current tracking tool, oversee the agencies internal scoring process, promote communications and training for E-Government, respond to OMB quarterly responses, Integrate Portfolio Management with E-Government, Integrate Enterprise Architecture with E-Government support, and provide additional support where needed. The candidate will plan and execute special events, meetings, and workshops when applicable. In addition the candidate will manage tasks independently from start to finish, conduct client interface regarding the status of tasks, and work with the client to identify solutions.

  • Assist in gathering and analyzing data in response to OMB request for information
  • Track day-to-day eGov activities
  • Develop draft documents to be sent to OMB
  • Support the development and analysis of eGov reports
  • Track progress on eGov Initiative milestones and prepare reports for submission to OMB
  • Review assigned E-Government Initiative Exhibit 300s
  • Provide consulting on business process reengineering and strategic implementation of information technology techniques

Experience/Education

Required
  • Experience in a federal government or DoD environment preferred
  • Knowledge of federal government policies and procedures
  • Knowledge of federal budgeting, performance management, strategic planning, program evaluation, and linking budgets to performance
  • Knowledge of the Government Performance Results Act (GPRA); the Program Assessment Rating Tool (PART); the President’s Management Agenda (PMA) for Budget and Performance Integration (BPI), and E-Gov
  • Strong computer skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint
  • Excellent listening, organization, and editing skills a must
  • Ability to track and organize multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Ability to work in a team environment
