Software Objects Developer

Washington, DC

Clearance:

Minimum Security Clearance Requirement: US Citizenship Required –Top Secret (TS)/DOE Q **REQUIRED**

Duties and Responsibilities:

· Work closely with functional team and end users to understand and validate requirements and build reporting solutions that produce accurate, timely information in a format appropriate for the dissemination to customers.

· Assist customer in identifying and delivering various business intelligence solutions.

· Develop queries/reports/documents using Business Objects.

· Support and deploy software changes using defined system lifecycle methodologies (development, test, and production)

· Must have the ability to listen and interact with customers and convey ideas effectively

Qualifications:

· Bachelor of Science Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or a related degree is desired; years of related experience can be used as a substitute

· 6 years of IT related experience

· 4 years experience using Software Development Lifecycle methodologies

· 4 years of experience doing Business Objects development

· Position requires a current Top Secret Clearance

Desired:

· Knowledge of Business Objects Security Administration functions

· Knowledge of Business Objects Server Administration functions

· Establishing/troubleshooting database connections

· Installing/Configuring/Upgrading Business Objects XI

· Availability to work occasional weekends

Must be able to obtain a TS/SCI Clearance
