The
Office of Electricity Delivery and Energy Reliability is seeking one or more
Financial Assistant(s).
Duties and
Responsibilities:
·
Provide financial analysis support to technical project
managers and to other stakeholders in OE's ARRA activites
·
Review invoices for compliance with guidelines
·
Update Corporate Planning Systems as required to enter information associated
with an Awardee's milestones
·
Updating CPS by entering financial information about an
Awardee's performance, including cost data associated with milestones.
·
Analyze awardee's invoices for compliance with form and
function requirements specified by the Spart Grid Investment
·
Grant program and analyze
awardee's invoices for compliance with form and function requirements specified
by the Recovery Act by using a checklist.
·
Review invoices for "fair and reasonable" costs and
review invoices to ensure that they are consistent financial plans submitted by
the awardee.
Qualifications:
·
One to five years of experience and display professional
comport.
·
Business or accounting degree and background.
·
Experience in government financial analysis.
·
Experience with IT systems and with office support systems
that include Microsoft Word, Excel, Visio, and Powerpoint.
·
Ability to work with minimal supervision and possess an
understanding of project management principles.
·
Understanding of basic financial concepts associated with
grants and contracts.
