Matt Collins is responsible for strategically managing corporate communications, marketing, future and present customers, business development, community outreach, and the GWAC program management office. To this role, he brings extensive experience in business development, strategic alliances, marketing, and overall company growth. Matt also spends a large portion of his day working closely with customers and our employees to ensure overall client satisfaction.

Matt has over 15 years experience in professional services, including legislative and communications responsibility on Capitol Hill, PR/Advertising oversight for major international brands, and management of strategic planning and software development for federal agencies including ATF, Federal Highway Administration, and Department of Energy.

Matt was CEO of Tisani Consulting LLC, a small management consulting firm focused on the commercial and not-for-profit sectors in the DC area. Prior to Tisani, Matt was Managing Partner for the Mid-Atlantic office of marchFIRST. There, Matt successfully integrated online offerings, tools, and methodologies for a number of large, multi-national companies including GE Capital, IBM, and Audi who were looking to leverage internet technologies to broaden their existing business lines.

Matt also worked for Citibank in the US/Europe E-Commerce group, where he led the team that developed Citibank's first global online banking initiative, Direct Access. He also led the team that launched the first online multi-business effort within Citibank targeted at college students integrating credit cards, student loans and consumer banking services. Before Citibank, Matt spent 5 years on Capitol Hill in a number of roles including Press Secretary, Speech Writer, and Legislative Assistant in both the House and Senate. He has an undergraduate degree in Government from Hamilton College and an MBA from Thunderbird, The American Graduate School of International Management.
