Program Analyst (20-024)

Location: Washington, DC

Security Clearance Eligibility: Active Public Trust Clearance is required

Duties and Responsibilities:

1 Source is looking for a Program Analyst to work collaboratively with other contractors and federal staff at the Alcohol and Tobacco Tax and Trade Bureau. Duties and responsibilities include, but not limited to:

  • Create and validate documentation for projects according to standard templates, using plain language simply, clearly and concisely
  • Manage documentation requests and resulting artifacts through effective change control processes and tools
  • Analyze, research and maintain existing content for accuracy and relevance in the current environment
  • Participate in stakeholder engagement and documenting user requirements
  • Serve as recorder or facilitator for meetings, conferences and events as needed
  • Support multiple Agile Scrum teams with documentation requirements
  • Interface with Program level SLA and provide budget analysis


Education and Years of Experience:

  • Bachelor’s Degree is required
  • 2+ years of technical writing experience

Required Skills:

  • Experience using Microsoft SharePoint is required
  • Experience using Microsoft Office Suite is required
  • Experience in process analysis is preferred
  • Familiarity with agile software development methodology
  • Knowledge of CMMI methodology and Agile
  • Excellent writing skills, to communicate information effectively to customers, managers, and technical staff
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to multi-task as this positon supports multiple teams
  • Technical skills, to learn and use a variety of applications and tools
  • Communication skills, to simply and effectively convey how to use applications and tools to less technical individuals and to articulate requirements and tasks across a broad spectrum of technical staff to ensure understanding
  • Listening skills, to understand how to use a variety of applications and tools
  • Organizational skills, to sort and manage a broad array of information into a coherent structure
  • Process management skills, to understand and document how applications or tools should be used in order to be effective
