Benefit Plan Participation: Benefit plan coverage may only be elected within 30 days of hire, during open enrollment, or a change of status. Employees have 30 days after their date of hire to enroll in the benefit programs; however, it is recommended that employees enroll as soon as possible to avoid any delays in coverage. Change of status includes marriage, divorce, birth, and loss or gain of coverage. The change must be submitted to the Human Resources Department within 30 days of the qualifying event.
